The famous boy band consists of about 80 young musicians dressed in period Rocco uniforms. They are bound to enthral their audience wherever the band perfoms.
In 2006 the ""Dinkelsbühler Theater"" was elevated to a state stage. The repertoire includes spoken theater productions, musicals and revues as well as children's theater, contemporary plays and regular premieres. The productions are carried by a permanent five-person theater ensemble, which is complemented by numerous and named guests. Dinkelsbühl also shines in 2021. The famous event will also take place in 2021 – on 28th of August! Again, first – class live music will be presented on different stages, many attractions and possibilities for shopping until Saturday evening. The whole city will be enlighted with light creating a smooth atmosphere.
The historical festival “Kinderzeche” (performed since 1897) is one of Germany’s oldest and most colourful festival plays. Legend has it that, when Swedish hordes under the command of Colonel von Sperreuth laid siege to the town in 1632 the gate-keeper’s daughter Lore, together with the children of the town, pleaded for mercy and saved the town from pillage and destruction. The festival week lasts for 10 days and is accompanied by a diverse peripheral programme.
SUMMER BREEZE Open Air is approaching its 16th installment. For the eighth time already, the metallic breeze will blow in beautiful Dinkelsbuehl, Germany from August 18th to 21th, 2021. As usual, this year’s SUMMER BREEZE will take place over three days on the airfield of the Aeroclub Dinkelsbuehl between Sinbronn and Illenschwang.
On two open air stages with no simultaneous performances, and already from Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 in the Party Tent and on our fourth stage, the Camel Stage next to the Party Tent, there will be a merciless display of hard music. The weekend ticket is available for 92.- Euros (incl. pre-sale fee, parking/camping and bus shuttle between the festival site and the town of Dinkelsbühl)!
For centuries, the lakes and rivers around Dinkelsbühl have provided an ideal environment for fish-breeding. A colourful programme of fish-based events is held during fish harvest week and restaurants serve up gourmet fish dishes.
